These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the DAG Law Firm & Legal Consultancy website and its services, including the online assessment tools, governance certificates, appointment booking and payments.
1. Definitions
- The Firm, we or us: DAG Law Firm & Legal Consultancy.
- The Website: dlc.com.sa and all of its pages and tools.
- User or you: anyone who browses the Website or uses any of its services, whether as an individual or on behalf of an entity.
- Assessment Tools: the governance and compliance calculators and other legal calculators available on the Website.
- Certificate: a governance assessment certificate issued electronically from the result of an Assessment Tool.
2. Acceptance
By using the Website or any of its services you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy published on the Website. If you use the Website on behalf of an entity, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and that these Terms bind that entity. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Website.
3. Nature of the content
Content on the Website, including articles, FAQs and calculator results, is general information for awareness. It is not legal advice on any particular matter and does not replace advice from a qualified lawyer.
Browsing the Website, using its tools or writing to us through it does not create a lawyer-client relationship. That relationship arises only from a signed fee agreement or written engagement with the Firm.
4. Use of the Website
You agree to use the Website lawfully only, and not to:
- submit false or misleading information, or impersonate another person or entity;
- attempt unauthorised access to the Website, its systems or other users’ data, or disrupt or overload it;
- use automated tools to collect content or data, or try certificate numbers in order to view other entities’ details;
- use the Website in breach of the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Firm may suspend access for any user who breaches these rules, without prejudice to its other legal rights.
5. Online assessments and governance certificates
Results of the Assessment Tools and the Certificates issued from them rely entirely on the answers and information the User provides. The User alone is responsible for their accuracy and completeness.
- A Certificate is issued on the basis of the answers and disclosures made through the Assessment Tool. It is not based on a site visit or a review of documents, and its result is limited to the scope and criteria of that Certificate.
- Each Certificate level has a maximum result and a validity period stated on the Certificate. A Certificate expires at the end of that period.
- A Certificate shows the entity’s trade name, legal form and commercial registration number. Personal contact details are not printed on it.
- The verification page is public. Anyone with a Certificate’s number or QR code can see the details printed on it, its result, issue and expiry dates and status. The detailed report is available only with a code sent to the email address used for the assessment.
- A Certificate may not be altered, cropped or presented in a way that suggests something it does not say, or as if it were issued after a document review or site visit.
- The Firm may revoke any Certificate found to have been issued on incorrect information or used in breach of these Terms. A revoked Certificate shows as revoked on the verification page.
- You may not obtain a Certificate for an entity you are not authorised to represent.
6. Field-visit assessment and appointments
A field-visit assessment is booked by paying a deposit and choosing a meeting time with our team. The visit date, required documents, scope and fees are then agreed at that meeting under a separate agreement with the Firm.
The deposit is deducted from the field-visit assessment fee on engagement. The field-visit certificate is issued by the Firm after the assessment report is prepared; it is not issued automatically by the Website.
7. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in Saudi riyals, and the Website states whether a service is free or paid before you start it.
- Payments are processed by a licensed payment provider. The Firm does not store card details.
- A service counts as paid only once the payment provider confirms the payment.
- Paying for a paid Assessment Tool allows one Certificate to be issued; another Certificate requires a new payment.
- The Firm may change prices at any time without affecting amounts already paid.
8. Cancellation and refunds
- Paid Assessment Tools: no refund after the Certificate is issued. If a Certificate cannot be issued for a technical reason on the Website’s side, the User may issue it again or request a refund.
- Field-visit deposit: refunded in full if the User cancels at least 24 hours before the meeting, or if the Firm cancels and no new time is agreed. It is not refunded otherwise.
- Refund requests go to info@dlc.com.sa. Refunds are made to the original payment method within the payment provider’s processing time.
9. Personal data
The Firm processes personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Privacy Policy published on the Website. Assessment and certificate data are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and verify Certificates, and then deleted under the Firm’s retention policy. You may ask to access, correct or delete your data by contacting us; deleting the data behind a valid Certificate may require revoking it.
10. Intellectual property
All Website content, including text, Assessment Tools and their questions, weights and methodology, designs and logos, is owned by or licensed to the Firm and may not be copied, republished or used commercially without the Firm’s prior written permission.
11. Limitation of liability
The Website and its tools are provided as they are. The Firm takes reasonable care over the accuracy and availability of the Website but does not guarantee it is free of errors or interruption. To the extent permitted by law, the Firm is not liable for any decision taken by the User or any third party in reliance on Website content, Assessment results or Certificates, or for any indirect loss arising from use of the Website. In all cases the Firm’s liability is limited to the amount the User paid for the service concerned.
12. External links
The Website may link to third-party websites and services, including the payment provider. The Firm is not responsible for their content or policies.
13. Changes to these Terms
The Firm may amend these Terms at any time. Amendments take effect when published on this page, and continued use of the Website after publication means you accept them.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the competent courts in Riyadh have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. The parties will seek to settle any disagreement amicably before going to court.
15. Contact us
